The Maine Green Independent Party is the oldest State Green party in the United States.
There are elected Green Independents all over the state, including the highest concentration of Greens in the country in Cumberland County. We are running an exciting slate of progressive candidates in 2008, with hopes of spreading this unparalleled political movement.
