The Maine Greens are a group of forward thinking individuals and organizations involved in a wide variety of social, environmental, and political issues. They are held together by a common understanding of The 10 Key Values, the philosophical guide posts of the Green Movement. Although "Greens" are generally thought of as environmentalists, the fact is that true movement in the environmental sector means that ALL sectors of life must work in harmony if we expect to reach sustainablity as a species. The difference between the Maine Greens and the Maine Green Party arises from the fact that there are many Greens who don't relate to the political process at all.
